RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At Golden Tree Tarot, we want you to love every purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to return merchandise, what qualifies for a refund or replacement, and how the process works.

Important: Physical merchandise must be returned to us before any refund or replacement can be issued. No exceptions.

1. What Can Be Returned

We accept returns on eligible physical products (crystals, spiritual items, and other merchandise) purchased through www.goldentreetarot.com, subject to the conditions below.

2. Return Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, ALL of the following conditions must be met:

  • The return is requested within 14 days of the delivery date
  • The item is in its original, unused, and undamaged condition
  • The item is in its original packaging with all tags, inserts, and accessories included
  • You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or order number)
  • You have contacted us first and received a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping

Items that do not meet all of the above conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

3. How to Start a Return

Follow these steps to initiate your return:

  1. Contact us at [Insert Contact Email Address] within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. Wait for your Return Authorization (RA) number. Do not ship your item before receiving this number. Returns shipped without an RA number will not be processed.
  3. Securely pack the item(s) in their original packaging. Write your RA number clearly on the outside of the package.
  4. Ship the item to the return address provided with your RA number. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
  5. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email and process your refund or replacement within 5–7 business days.

Returns sent without a Return Authorization (RA) number will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Who covers return shipping depends on the reason for the return:

We are not responsible for return packages lost or damaged in transit. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance and retaining your tracking information until your return is confirmed.

5. Refunds

5.1 Physical Products

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will send you an email confirming receipt and notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error
  • If your return is rejected (e.g., item is used, damaged, or not in original condition), the item will be returned to you at your expense

Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account after processing.

5.2 Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs showing the damage or defect. We will arrange a prepaid return label and, once the item is received and verified, offer you a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you.

We are unable to process damage claims reported more than 3 days after the confirmed delivery date.

5.3 Tarot Readings

Paid tarot readings are non-refundable once delivered, as they represent a personal, time-invested service. Refunds for readings may be considered only in the following circumstances:

  • The reading was not delivered within the agreed timeframe and no alternative arrangement was made
  • A verified technical error caused a duplicate charge

Refund requests for readings must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. Disagreement with the content or interpretation of a reading does not qualify for a refund.

5.4 Digital Products

Digital products (such as downloadable PDFs or digital reading files) are non-refundable once they have been delivered or accessed.

6. Replacements & Exchanges

If you would prefer a replacement item rather than a refund, we are happy to accommodate this where stock is available. To request a replacement:

  • Follow the return process in Section 3 and indicate that you would like a replacement
  • The original item must be returned and received by us before a replacement is shipped
  • If the requested replacement item is no longer in stock, a refund will be issued instead

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your original purchase for a refund and place a new order.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances (except in cases of our verified error):

  • Custom or personalized items made to order
  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items (marked as such at the time of purchase)
  • Digital downloads and PDF products once delivered
  • Paid tarot reading services once delivered
  • Items returned without a Return Authorization (RA) number
  • Items returned more than 14 days after the delivery date
  • Items that have been used, opened, damaged by the customer, or are missing original packaging

8. Lost or Undelivered Packages

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbors and any secure delivery locations. Then contact your carrier with the tracking number provided.

If the issue is not resolved with the carrier, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date and we will do our best to assist. Please note that we are not responsible for packages lost due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout.
